Cloud Solution Architect
About the job
- At least 10 years of overall experience in IT commercial projects, including at least 4 years in the role of a Solution Architect.
- Expertise in at least one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Data Engineering cloud resources.
- Expertise in Data Integration and Engineering and Analytics concepts, including knowledge of current design and technological trends.
- Competency with Business Intelligence and reporting solutions, such as Power BI.
- Ability to design solutions involving Machine Learning and Generative Artificial Intelligence capabilities.
- A software development foundation, with a focus on applying established design patterns to build robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process setup and resource provisioning techniques, including Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, including presales activities, and working in an international team setup.
- Good organizational and priority management skills.
- Leadership and team player mindset.
- A higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
- Lead delivery of Data Integration and Analytics solutions for customers within major cloud platforms, including Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Prepare complete solution designs.
- Take responsibility for critical technological decisions.
- Provide continuous architectural and technical design support to the application development team.
- Lead application development at all lifecycle stages, including proof of concept, minimum viable product, and full-scale production solutions.
- Provide mid- and long-term application development and growth strategy.
- Proactively identify and propose solutions to mitigate project risks.
- Directly face customers for ongoing project and presales matters.
- Cooperate with internal and client teams in an international setup.
- Define development standards and frameworks.
- Drive technology innovation and continuously improve technical knowledge by staying up to date with the latest trends.
- Participate in project staffing and planning as a consulting Architect.
- Support presales initiatives from a technological standpoint.
- Contribute to internal technology communities.
