- Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

- Work with operations teams to identify and remove process bottlenecks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using automation, data analysis, and engineering best practices.
- Identify opportunities for new technologies and digital solutions to improve manufacturing performance.
- Develop and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to support operational excellence.
- Contribute to site improvement roadmaps and long-term engineering strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise across automation, controls, and electrical systems.
- Coach and support maintenance and operations teams in fault finding and equipment operation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
- Support skills development and knowledge sharing to improve overall engineering capability.
- Time-served Electrical/Controls Engineer apprenticeship.
- Relevant electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience with servo drives, variable-speed drives, motion control, and instrumentation systems.
- Experience managing contractors, project budgets, schedules, and technical specifications.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent.
- Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 environments.

↑ 0%Alkegen, a specialty materials manufacturer, has entered into a Restructuring Support Agreement to eliminate approximately $3.1 billion of debt. The agreement has backing from 99% of first lien holders and a majority of second lien holders. The company has secured $315 million in new capital to support operations during restructuring. Upon completion, Alkegen expects to emerge with a stronger balance sheet and approximately $200 million in available liquidity. The restructuring will be implemented through a prepackaged chapter 11 process, expected to be filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. Operations will continue as usual with no anticipated disruption for customers, suppliers, or partners. Alkegen plans approximately $70 million in capital improvements for 2026, with an additional $300 million anticipated through 2030.
