What believers are saying

  • August 2026 OmniTraffic added ChatGPT, YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, and SoundCloud exposure tracking.
  • Nikhil Nair joined in August 2026, strengthening data science and AI governance.
  • MFour ingested over one million ChatGPT conversations in January and again in February 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Adobe's 2026 Semrush acquisition makes MFour dependent on one platform distributor.
  • MFour's value hinges on compensated panelists; any opt-in decline shrinks signal quality fast.
  • Public funding remains only $5 million; growth depends on customer revenue, not balance-sheet depth.

What makes MFour unique

  • MFour links opt-in consumer identity across app, web, location, receipts, and surveys.
  • MFour's 2026 ChatGPT dataset ties prompts to purchases, giving rare AI-to-checkout visibility.
  • Semrush investment and Datos partnership embedded MFour inside a broader marketing intelligence stack.

MFour expands digital ad tracking to ChatGPT and audio streaming platforms

MFour Data Research has expanded its OmniTraffic Digital Ads feed to capture advertising exposure across ChatGPT, YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, and SoundCloud, alongside social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X. The service connects ad exposure to downstream consumer behaviour, including app usage, web activity, store visits, and purchases. The feed captures observed ad exposure from consenting consumers in MFour's first-party panel, rather than using modelled or inferred impressions. At launch, it includes approximately 60,000 consumers and 63 million ad exposures from the most recent 30-day period. "By connecting ad exposure across social platforms, streaming media, and AI to what those same consumers do next, we're giving brands a clearer view of the full journey," said Chris St. Hilaire, founder and CEO of MFour Data Research.

At MFour, Nair will advance the company's data strategy and support its first-party consumer data and AI capabilities, including DANI, MFour's AI assistant for connecting behavioural data with survey responses. MFour's DANI adds video interviews to quant studies, auto-transcribes and generates shareable reels in minutes

MFour announced that its DANI platform now integrates video interviews into quantitative studies, allowing researchers to understand consumer motivations without conducting separate qualitative research. The platform automatically transcribes video responses, identifies recurring themes, and quantifies their frequency. DANI Reel Studio connects findings to supporting consumer videos and enables researchers to create presentation-ready reels using drag-and-drop editing tools. The platform can also auto-generate reels based on researcher instructions. "Quant tells you what is happening. Video explains why," said Chris St. Hilaire, founder and CEO of MFour. The feature leverages MFour's consumer panel and mobile app, which captures real-time feedback from consumers. DANI Reel Studio is now available to MFour Studio customers. Founded in 2011, MFour provides consumer behaviour data through its Surveys On The Go app and serves clients including Samsung, Google, and Amazon Ads.

MFour ingests 1M+ ChatGPT conversations in January, linking AI prompts to purchase data

MFour Data Research has ingested over one million ChatGPT conversations in January 2026, linking AI prompts to real-world consumer behaviours across nine data streams. The company's ChatGPT Conversation Data initiative captures opt-in conversations from its 13 million-member consumer panel, connecting AI interactions to app usage, web browsing, location visits and purchases. Launched in November 2025, the programme has collected over two million conversations total. The dataset enables organisations to trace consumer journeys from AI prompts through to point of sale, addressing a previously invisible touchpoint in the purchase path. All data is collected with explicit consumer consent through MFour's Surveys On The Go app and is PII-scrubbed before ingestion. The company serves clients including Samsung, Google, Amazon Ads and Microsoft through its MFour Studio platform.
