  • A bachelor's or associate's degree is required, or the candidate must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
  • A Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer credential issued by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services is required for Wisconsin practice.
  • Illinois accreditation or temporary accreditation in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency is required for Illinois practice.
  • Certification, registration, or registry eligibility as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required; certification or registration must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide X-ray services to patients under the direction of the radiologist.
  • Follow physician instructions and appropriately position patients.
  • Prepare and operate radiologic equipment.
  • Accurately record the requested images.
Desired Qualifications
  • One year of experience is preferred.
