Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including PL/SQL development and performance tuning in Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
  • DevOps knowledge along with GitLab continuous integration and continuous delivery automation.
  • Security authentication and authorization knowledge, including OIDC, OAuth, and Azure MFA.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and services.
  • Write clean, efficient, secure, and scalable code following engineering standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product and Operations to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver features end-to-end.
  • Diagnose and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks; participate in incident response and post-incident improvements as needed.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy involving APIs, data models, reliability, observability, and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain quality, share knowledge, and reinforce consistent patterns.
  • Improve developer productivity through automation, better tooling, and continuous integration and continuous delivery improvements.
  • Mentor and support engineers across the team and foster a culture of continuous learning and constructive feedback.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend pragmatic adoption where valuable.
  • Deliver high-quality features quickly by breaking down work effectively and removing bottlenecks.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability through disciplined engineering practices.
  • Raise team output through mentorship, constructive code reviews, and sharing reusable patterns.
  • Balance speed with risk management, security, and operational readiness.
  • Continuously learn and pragmatically apply new tools and techniques to improve outcomes.

  • Exposure to full-stack development, including Java 11, Spring 5, Spring Boot 3, HTML, CSS, JSON, Angular 10+, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation and artificial intelligence-driven solutions.
