Requirements
  • A Journeyman Electrician license is required.
  • At least 4 years of industrial electrical field experience is required.
  • Ability to work safely and contribute to a safety-focused team is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings is required.
  • Willingness to learn and work hands-on in the field alongside engineers and field technicians is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment is required.
  • Flexibility to assist in other technical disciplines is required.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools, ladders, and manlifts is required.
  • Willingness to work out of town with regular overnight travel is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and understand installation details, layout drawings, and other drawings and documents associated with construction packages.
  • Complete assigned tasks according to construction project specifications.
  • Install, commission, and maintain power, instrumentation, process controls, and supervisory control and data acquisition equipment.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical installation of control panels and instrumentation, including rigid, electrical metallic tubing, and polyvinyl chloride-coated rigid conduit; service, feeders, and branch circuits; controls, fiber, and network cabling; stainless tubing and instrumentation; service equipment, motor control centers, and panelboards.
  • Perform field wiring of control panels and instrumentation.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on power, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting power and control systems.
  • Coordinate repair, testing, and installation of power and control systems.
  • Maintain behaviors demonstrating safety as a personal core value.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety requirements and protocols.
