Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in Radiology.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Ability to provide service excellence and patient-focused care.
  • Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team and in a fast-paced environment while using critical decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to customer service when dealing with patients, colleagues, volunteers, and members of the community and public.

  • Understanding of and commitment to comprehensive staff, patient, and environmental safety programs and practices, including participation in regular in-service education.
  • Demonstrated excellent work performance and attendance record.
  • Willingness to be trained in full-line computed tomography and successfully complete the CAMRT computed tomography certification.
Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary family-centered care environment.
  • Perform the complete range of tests and procedures related to general radiography.
  • Maintain the patient information registry and prepare reports.
  • Maintain equipment and perform other relevant duties.
  • Work across all three hospital locations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience scanning computed tomography head and renal colic cases.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Completion of or enrollment in the CAMRT computed tomography certification course.
  • Training in cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Intravenous certificate course.
  • Ability to speak another language.
