Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of strong hands-on programming experience are required.
  • Proficiency in Java, Java Platform, Enterprise Edition, Ext JS, Angular 2, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, and HTML4/5 is required.
  • Extensive experience with web user-interface frameworks and web user-interface development, including usability, page transitions, page navigation, image caching, and lazy page loading, is required.
  • Experience developing rich user interfaces with a user-interface framework and the Spring Model-View-Controller framework is required.
  • Experience with performance tuning and profiling web applications is required.
  • Experience developing complex multilayer applications and highly available, mission-critical, large-scale web applications across frontend and backend systems is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to abstract information from existing code are required.
  • Experience developing multithreaded applications that interface with other systems is required.
  • Experience with Rational Software Architect and Rational Application Developer tools is required.
  • Knowledge of application servers such as IBM WebSphere and Apache HTTP Server is required.
  • Strong object-oriented design and programming skills, including working knowledge of Unified Modeling Language, design patterns, and refactoring, are required.
  • Expertise architecting applications based on business requirements is required.
  • Strong understanding of standard software development life-cycle methodologies is required.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment and follow information-technology and data-security compliance, reusability, scalability, and open-architecture standards is required.
  • Ability to interface with different departments regarding new deployments is required.
