Food & Beverage Attendant / Bartender

We’re looking for experienced team members who have a passion for Food & Beverage to work across our hotel’s exciting venues - Ember & Vine Restaurant, Aviator Bar, Banquets, Shoalhaven Ballroom, and more!

To succeed as a Part-time Food & Beverage Attendant / Bartender, you’ll bring flexibility, enthusiasm and previous bartending experience, with availability across mornings, days and afternoons. You’ll be confident preparing a range of beverages and, most importantly, passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences across our restaurant, bar and conferencing spaces.

Your day to day

• Create a warm welcome for every guest that sets the tone for their experience, providing attentive and efficient services, ensuring a delightful experience
• Take orders and serve a diverse selection of delicious dishes, from our restaurant and bar, along with brewed coffee, local South Australian Wine, outstanding cocktails and other beverages
• Keep the restaurant, bar and banquet areas clean, organised, and inviting, reflecting our commitment to excellence
• Anticipate guest needs, address any issues promptly, and create memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back

What we need from you

• Previous bartending experience within the hospitality and/or hotel industry is essential

• Confident in preparing a wide range of beverages, with formal bartending training highly regarded

• A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

• Have a service focused attitude, with a talent for delivering impeccable service

• Weekends, evenings and public holidays are all part of the job

• Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to and respond to situation to ensure guests receive prompt actions

• Display a commitment to our guests by consistently maintaining a high level of quality at all times

• You’ll be on your feet most of the day with bending and kneeling. Sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull objects, to 23 kg – we have the equipment to support you
