A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
A minimum of five years of machining maintenance experience on one or more manufacturing machines, including Mazak preferred.
Experience and/or training with CNC turning centers up to five axis, multi-task machining centers up to six axis, and CNC vertical and horizontal mills up to five axis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Ability to use tools and alignment equipment.
Ability to read and follow blueprints, sketches, diagrams, lubrication charts, manufacturer operation manuals, and engineering specifications.
Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to meet the physical demands of regularly using hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, climbing, and balancing.
Specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Successful completion of required illegal drug testing prior to hire and periodically during employment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance daily, weekly, and monthly according to manufacturers’ specifications on Mazak, HAAS, Bridgeport, and Cincinnati CNC machines.
Repair hydraulics, pneumatics, electronic controls, electrical wiring, and programmable logic controller systems on Mazak, HAAS, Bridgeport, and Cincinnati CNC machines.
Troubleshoot and assess machinery operation to detect the cause of malfunctions.
Assemble, disassemble, and replace CNC machine parts as required.
Follow manufacturers’ and company safety policies.
Perform other assigned maintenance duties.
Job Description
Summary: Responsible for maintenance and repair of CNC production equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Performs routine preventative maintenance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to manufactures specifications on Mazak, HAAS, Bridgeport and Cincinnati CNC machines.
Repair of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronic controls, electrical wiring, PLC troubleshooting of Mazak, HAAS, Bridgeport and Cincinnati CNC machines.
Trouble test and assess the operation of machinery to detect the cause of malfunction.
Reads and follows blueprints, sketches, diagrams, lubrication charts, manufacturer operation manuals and engineering specifications.
Possess ability to use tools and alignment equipment.
Assembles, disassembles and/or replaces CNC machine parts as required.
Follows manufacturers and company safety policies.
Performs other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
