- 3–5 years of hands-on electrical assembly and wiring experience in a manufacturing or automation environment
- Associate’s degree in an electrical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering documents
- Comfort working with BOMs, change forms, and basic purchasing processes
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to perform hands-on shop work such as standing, kneeling, climbing, lifting 25–50 lbs
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE use
- Willingness to travel and work varying shifts as project needs require
- Build and wire custom electrical control assemblies from engineering drawings - PLC cabinets, HMI enclosures, and more
- Mount, wire, and integrate motors, sensors, controllers, and other components into automated systems
- Complete system-wide power and control wiring, including transformers and power distribution elements
- Review and communicate design changes with the Controls Design team and Supervisors
- Support Machine Project Leaders during system setup and cycling to ensure equipment functions as designed
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical hardware issues; assist programmers with device configuration and testing
- Mentor and support Electrical Technician I team members
- Travel to customer sites to support equipment installation, testing, and commissioning
- Complete ISO-compliant documentation, Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQPs), and checklists with accuracy and attention to detail
- Apply 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices in daily work
- Support mechanical assembly tasks when needed to keep production on track
