- A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- At least two years of work experience is required; supervisory or managerial experience with a commercial building products and materials company that repairs or installs equipment or products is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, organization, and mechanical aptitude are required.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
- Successful completion of employment verifications, a background check, drug screen, and driving-record check where applicable is required before hire.
- Manage equipment, service, and installation technicians in a hands-on role leading the entry door systems service and installation business, with substantial customer interaction.
- Manage department budget and profit-and-loss responsibility, controlling labor and material costs.
- Manage and directly assist with employee and job scheduling and dispatching, and provide technical and mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance.
- Communicate with customers to ensure high-quality service.
- Develop, train, and hire technicians, office administrative personnel, and interns or management trainees as necessary.
