- Must have Medical Assistant certification and non-online cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
- One year of Medical Assistant clinical experience with post-training experience in an ambulatory care setting is required.
- Must have phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to perform electrocardiograms, monitor vital signs, height and weight, glucometer readings, and related documentation.
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations.
- Must have transportation to and from work because public transportation is limited at night.
- Provide clinical patient care with nursing supervision, including phlebotomy, electrocardiograms, wound care, vital signs, and withdrawal checks.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support to nursing staff.
- Experience with eating disorder, addiction, and psychiatric populations is preferred.
