Senior Marketing Associate - Social, U.S. Card Performance Marketing
Capital One is seeking a Senior Associate to join the social marketing team in U.S. Card Performance Marketing. This position will contribute to the fast growing Meta channel’s acquisition strategy through scoping tests to support the channel learning agenda, working with platform and agency partners to implement campaigns and keeping the channel well managed through diligent attention to detail.The Senior Associate will have experience in performance marketing either at an agency or in house, be a self starter and able to work in a fast paced environment.
This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week) in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Monday and Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
Responsibilities:
Partner with channel team and agency for planning and implementation of Meta campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, following outlined process and flagging areas for potential process improvements
Scope future tests with Meta team and channel team, thinking through the highest leverage ways to structure tests to achieve most valuable results, including: creative testing, audience testing, new placements, etc.
Coordinate across internal teams including Compliance, Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, Analytics, Data, Technology etc. to execute Meta strategies end to end
Partner with QA associate to maintain platform documentation, plan launch timings, and ensure following well managed processes
“Self-starter”, strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, ability to prioritize workloads, and fast learner of new digital marketing and social media platforms and tools
Create creative briefs to enform upcoming tests and maintain channel creative library
Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversions, and online customer acquisition
Ability to work with high-performing teammates, as well as partners across the enterprise
Comfortable working with large data sets in Excel / Google Sheets + familiarity with common performance marketing metrics
Strong ability to create presentations and clearly communicate through PowerPoint/Google slides
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 2 years of experience in paid social marketing with knowledge of Meta platforms Facebook & Instagram
At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
At least 1 year of experience with Google Suite applications
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in paid social marketing with knowledge of Meta (Facebook & Instagram) in the performance marketing space
At least 2 years of ad operations experience at a digital marketing agency
Experience in other social media or digital marketing channels such as: YouTube, TikTok, Display, etc.
At least 2 years of experience in project management or 2 years of experience at a digital marketing agency
