Requirements
  • Experience integrating artificial intelligence into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • At least 10 years of hands-on security engineering experience, including at least 5 years in cloud security across Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deep expertise in operating system and server security for Linux and Windows, enterprise networking, and secure network architectures.
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
  • An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the security strategy for infrastructure and cloud platforms, aligned to business risk and objectives.
  • Lead architecture and implementation of scalable, automated security controls across Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and on-premises environments.
  • Drive secure cloud migration initiatives and hyperscale adoption while maintaining a robust security posture throughout the transition.
  • Oversee security for networks, servers, authentication systems, certificates, and operational tooling in hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Establish and maintain controls for certificate lifecycle management, cloud identity and access management, and secure credential management.
  • Improve operational excellence through automation, outage reduction, and service resilience improvements.
  • Represent Security Engineering in architecture reviews, incident response, and compliance initiatives for infrastructure and cloud.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, fostering secure engineering practices across teams.
  • Stay current with industry threats, trends, and mitigation techniques related to infrastructure and cloud security.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Auditor, or Certified Information Security Manager certification.
  • Experience with XACTA and eMASS.
  • Amazon Web Services cloud certifications.
  • Experience with cloud migration, hyperscaler environments, and securing hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management services, including LDAP/Directory Services, SAML, FIDO2, cloud-native identity and access management, passwordless authentication, and public key infrastructure.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools including Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Experience with Splunk and security information and event management/log management systems.
  • Expertise in hardware virtualization, cloud-native services, and automation of operations and capacity planning.
  • Experience with system performance tuning, service monitoring, and advanced troubleshooting in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SOC 2, SOX, and GDPR.
  • Ability to analyze and assess complex problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
