- Ensure smooth patient flow through the clinic.
- Take vital signs, review medical history, and update records in the electronic medical record system.
- Document patient communications and assist with electronic prescriptions.
- Serve as a key point of contact between patients and providers.
- Maintain examination rooms and sterilize equipment according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, surgeries, and referrals.
- Follow up on test results, medication authorizations, and postoperative care.
- Support physicians during in-office procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
- At least 6 months of experience in a medical office setting.
