Requirements
  • Rising college senior or above, pursuing an undergrad degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Must be able to work out of the San Ramon, CA headquarters this summer.
  • Self-starter possessing excellent time management skills. Can execute on a given set of steps with limited supervision.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and digest new product features without assistance.
  • Passion for continuous personal improvement both technically and professionally.
  • Previous experience with voice-based applications of any kind a plus.
Responsibilities
  • The intern will enhance deployment efficiency by templating common requirements into builds that can be reused, following closely under the manager of the U.S. West team.
  • Learn and utilize Five9 IVA Studio. It is the design time environment where speech applications are implemented. Primarily it is a diagram-based tool which hooks into various third-party services for natural language understanding, speech to text, text to speech and summarization.
  • The position might also work to fill in knowledge gaps of various unexplored areas of recent product releases, write knowledge articles or build training.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience with voice-based applications of any kind a plus.
