Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Certified in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in Occupational Health or Public Health Nursing.
  • Preferred: Additional Life Support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  • Preferred: Certified Occupational Health Nurse certification.
  • Preferred: Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
  • Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
  • Manage care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the hospital’s philosophy and policies.
  • Practice professional nursing through collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Desired Qualifications
