Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant post-college work experience.
- A strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript or JavaScript, and React or a similar technology.
- Ability and interest to travel up to 30% as needed to client sites.
- Ability to test, develop, and validate edge artificial intelligence workflows on site with users.
- Experience building and deploying products end to end is preferred, ideally in startups.
Responsibilities
- Deploy edge artificial intelligence systems in factories and warehouses and keep them operational.
- Observe customer workflows, define implementation plans, build prototypes, test them on site, and iterate based on results.
- Diagnose and fix issues encountered during deployments.
- Document installation and implementation processes to make future deployments easier.
- Improve end-to-end workflows covering detection, tracking, timing, and alerting, and validate that they solve customer problems.
- Work with backend, frontend, and research teams to share field learnings and turn field fixes into reusable solutions.
- Help create and scale deployment playbooks across regions.
- Develop edge artificial intelligence solutions for safety and operations, including detecting hazards, tracking interactions, measuring exposure time, and verifying fixes.
- Convert signals into actions using evidence and feedback loops that crews can trust.
- Generalize field work into reusable modules, playbooks, and product improvements.
Desired Qualifications
- Computer vision or edge systems experience.
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial settings.
- Previous founder or early-builder experience with end-to-end ownership of outcomes.
