Requirements
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including late afternoons or early evenings and possibly weekends, to meet the clinical needs of children and families.
  • Be able to work 16–20 hours per week, with a billable expectation of 12–15 hours per week.
  • Have the skills necessary to engage and work with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Be willing to work with seriously emotionally disturbed populations.
  • Be certified in Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths.
Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive family therapy to youth ages 0–20 and their caregivers in their homes.
  • Work as part of a team consisting of a clinician and a bachelor's-level Therapeutic Training and Support staff member who assists with implementing the treatment plan and coordinating care.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision from a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor and receive support from the In-Home Therapy team throughout the placement.
  • Apply the evidence-based Wraparound model to ensure families direct their treatment and that their voices are heard.
Desired Qualifications
  • Be enrolled in the second year of a Master's degree program such as Master of Arts, Master of Social Work, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Certified Social Worker, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or be license eligible, at an accredited school.
