Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience working in sales with a collegiate and/or professional sports team.
  • A proven track record in revenue generation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with Paciolan or Ticketmaster/Archtics ticketing systems.
  • Experience working with customer relationship management systems such as ACT, Salesforce.com, SSB, Microsoft CRM, Conquer, or Outreach.
  • Willingness and ability to work long hours, including holidays and weekends as required.
Responsibilities
  • Support revenue generation efforts involving ticket sales, new donor acquisition, customer service, premium seating, hospitality, and other revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Recruit, hire, and support the professional development of revenue generation staff.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring for revenue generation staff.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and facilitate discussions and sharing of ideas related to growing revenue.
  • Work closely with the campus liaison on all elements related to the Amplify partnership.
  • Develop and maintain a personal client base of prospects and customers.
  • Support the creation of the annual Revenue Generation plan and budget with appropriate staff and senior management, encompassing the sales and retention of various customers.
  • Prepare timely and accurate sales reports to monitor the progress of the revenue generation team individually and collectively and maintain proper sales pacing toward established goals.
  • Work with senior management to manage relationships with outside vendors and corporate partners related to the sale of group tickets and party suite rentals.
  • Work closely with university athletic department marketing staff on promotions related to driving revenue.
  • Work closely with the national Data Analytics team on customer relationship management and database initiatives, including data collection, analytics, and marketing directly related to generating incremental revenue.
