Requirements
- Must hold one of the following licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Psychological Associate.
- Experience providing therapy to adults, children, and families in an office setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical outpatient therapy services to adults, children, and families.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and patient intake, and obtain psychosocial histories.
- Provide individual and family therapy.
- Formulate treatment plans, including strengths and needs assessments with measurable goals and objectives.
- Develop crisis plans with outpatient clinic participants.
- Consult with other human services agencies to obtain additional participant information.
- Facilitate case conferences with collateral supports and staff as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals and families experiencing acute stress related to behavioral health problems, based on the participant's crisis plan.
- Provide aftercare coordination for participants, including movement into and discharge from needed services.
- Maintain the client schedule.
- Obtain appropriate authorizations.
- Submit timely and complete notes, treatment plans, service orders, assessments, and other applicable documentation from completed sessions for reimbursement.
