About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions is required.
- Basic welding experience is required.
- Good basic math skills are required.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week; overtime is possible.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for 80 percent of the day.
- Good vision, especially color vision due to color coding, is required.
- Ability to climb up and down is required.
- Must be able to bend, squat, twist, and kneel.
- Ability to use hand and power tools is required.
- Perform skilled welding work in the fabrication and repair of metal hoses.
- Cross-train across company departments based on business needs.
- Perform TIG welding.
- Ensure orders are completed by their due dates.
- React productively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- Inspect welds.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.
