Addiction Recovery Care

View

Addiction Recovery Care treats substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders through a network of licensed centers in Kentucky. Its treatment program connects detox and residential care with outpatient follow-up, while education and workforce services prepare clients for life after treatment. Clinical teams combine counseling, addiction medicine and peer support, with care plans matched to a person's stage of recovery. The centers earn payment for treatment through Kentucky Medicaid and private health insurance, and the business operates as a privately held care provider. Founded in 2010, Addiction Recovery Care is headquartered in Ashland, Kentucky.

What believers are saying

  • Treatment reaches working clients: ARC Anywhere brings counseling and recovery support to smartphones and computers.
  • Clinicians receive extra time off: ARC's remote counseling listing specifies two self-care days annually.
  • Staff have an anonymous reporting route: ARC uses independent provider Lighthouse for sensitive compliance concerns.

What critics are saying

  • Finances are strained: July 2026 officials reduced ARC's $16.2 million group judgment because of its financial condition.
  • Billing carries compliance exposure: July 2026 settlement allegations included overstating clinicians' licenses; officials made no liability determination.
  • Residential care includes overnight work: Crown's nursing board lists separate first, second and third shifts.

What makes Addiction Recovery Care unique

  • Faith shapes treatment: ARC incorporates the 12 steps and chaplaincy care alongside clinical services.
  • Mothers stay with babies: Bellefonte's residential program keeps them together during postpartum addiction treatment.
  • Recovery informs the workforce: ARC says about half its employees are in recovery and one-third completed its program.
