Be a third-year engineering-school student or an equivalent university student.
Have knowledge of geology, hydrogeology, and geothermal energy.
Have aptitude and experience in numerical modeling.
Have interpersonal and writing skills.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the team’s shallow geothermal energy projects using aquifers or borehole fields, including analysis of geological, hydrogeological, environmental, and regulatory contexts and borehole design, from prefeasibility studies through project-management assignments.
Participate in hydrogeology projects, including interpreting piezometric data, conducting statistical studies of characteristic groundwater levels, simplified modeling, and literature reviews.
Use modeling software to compare results across different tools, including for thermal simulations in geothermal projects.
Develop a borehole-pricing database to estimate works costs by geographic sector and mission type.
Participate in monitoring water or geothermal borehole works, using aquifers or borehole probes.
Desired Qualifications
Interest in programming and integrating artificial intelligence into hydrogeology work, including task automation, synthesis, and development of small tools.
Description du poste
Contribuer aux projets de l’équipe en géothermie de surface sur nappe ou sur champ de sondes (analyse du contexte géologique, hydrogéologique, environnemental et réglementaire, conception de forage, etc.), depuis les études de préfaisabilité jusqu’aux missions de maitrise d’œuvre ;
Participer à des projets en hydrogéologie (interprétation de données piézométriques, études statistiques sur les niveaux caractéristiques de nappe, modélisation simplifiée, synthèse bibliographique, etc.) ;
Manipuler des logiciels de modélisation, dans le but de comparer les résultats entre les différents outils, comme pour les simulations thermiques dans les projets de géothermie ;
Etablir une base de données de prix de forages pour déterminer le coût de travaux en fonction du secteur géographique et du type de mission ;
