Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in supply operations, quality control, auditing, compliance, investigations, records management, publications/document control, or a closely related field; an equivalent combination of formal training and experience may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of one or more Army supply functions, such as retail supply or supply support activity operations, property book operations, subsistence, clothing issue, ammunition supply, storage, inventory, receipt, issue, turn-in, or accountability.
  • Ability to interpret and apply PWS/PRS requirements, approved procedures, Army and Department of Defense publications, technical manuals, records requirements, and ISO 9001:2015-aligned Quality Management System controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and evaluate objective evidence, apply sampling or checklist criteria, analyze root causes and trends, write clear reports, and make impartial evidence-based conclusions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint, with the ability to learn or use approved workflow automation, document-signature, dashboard, and supply information systems required by the assignment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining auditor objectivity.
  • Ability to pass the pre-employment drug test and background screening.
  • Ability to receive a favorable Tier 1 investigation result and obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.
  • Possession of a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver's license.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform risk-based audits, inspections, spot checks, and follow-up reviews assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Interpret and apply contracts, PWS/PRS, QASP, QCP, Master PRS Table, department procedures, Army regulations and pamphlets, Department of Defense publications, Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions, technical manuals, and other approved directives relevant to audited activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and use approved audit checklists or worksheets and apply documented lot-size, sampling, Acceptable Quality Level, timeliness, and quality criteria.
  • Collect, evaluate, and retain objective evidence from observations, records, system data, interviews, authorized photographs, checklists, worksheets, forms, and other verifiable sources.
  • Create complete and accurate entries in the Quality Control Audits Register, including scope, requirement source, sampling data, evidence, results, notes, attachments, follow-up indicators, reviewer data, and closure status.
  • Evaluate audit results, identify non-conformances, repeat issues, risks, and Opportunities for Improvement, support corrective actions, and verify implementation, effectiveness, validation, and closure evidence.
  • Evaluate Government surveillance results, findings, complaints, and PWS/PRS discrepancies; support responses, causative research, root-cause analysis, corrective-action development, and routing through approved channels.
  • Route safety concerns through the approved safety reporting process and coordinate with department management without assuming ownership of safety, training, customer feedback, or supply operations.
  • Evaluate assigned clothing issue, subsistence, property-book, retail supply, receiving, storage, inventory, issue, turn-in, property-accountability, packing and crating, transportation-support, sensitive-item, and ammunition activities.
  • Review receipts, issues, inventories, reconciliations, hand receipts, voucher registers, adjustment and discrepancy documents, signature cards, technical and inspection records, suspense files, and other evidence for timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and accountability.
  • Use and evaluate data from GCSS-Army, ISMS, AFMIS, SAAS-MOD, Munitions History Program, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other approved systems.
  • Collect and analyze performance data, identify adverse trends and control weaknesses, and develop charts, reports, or management-review inputs using controlled source data.
  • Validate that current approved procedures, work instructions, forms, publications, and technical references are available at the point of use or approved SharePoint location and linked to applicable requirements.
  • When appointed, administer the creation, review, approval, publication, distribution, revision, and archival lifecycle for Quality Management System documented information.
  • Maintain controlled review schedules and status trackers, issue advance reminders, follow up on overdue actions, and escalate missed review or approval dates.
  • Review documents and forms for approved format, numbering, revision history, change number, footer, supporting-document coordination, and completeness; prepare signature packages and perform or support final quality-control verification.
  • Publish approved controlled copies, archive superseded versions, update control indexes and SharePoint metadata, retain approval and distribution evidence, and protect records from unauthorized change or deletion.
  • Maintain or validate the technical reference library, verify currency, control obsolete references, and document inventories, checkout, transmittal, updates, and custodian notification when applicable.
  • Maintain or validate the master forms index, coordinate requested changes, confirm approved format and revision data, publish current forms, and remove obsolete forms from active use.
  • Receive and review DA Forms 1687 and supporting appointment or assumption-of-command documents; maintain the SharePoint signature-card repository and tracker, monitor expirations, issue notices, document changes or removals, and remove expired authorizations.
  • Use SharePoint lists, libraries, versioning, views, and workflow automation to monitor review, signature, publication, and archival status; investigate exceptions and confirm complete, accurate, retrievable controlled records.
  • Prepare audit reports, technical papers, procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, correspondence, briefing slides, and management-review materials.
  • Participate in Quality Reviews, Management Reviews, Process Improvement Teams, corrective-action reviews, training development, customer-complaint review, and other quality or operational-improvement activities.
  • Protect controlled and sensitive information, meet suspense dates, and perform other related duties within the scope of the position.
  • Access warehouses, storage areas, supply activities, ammunition support areas when authorized, and outdoor locations, including work involving lifting up to 50 pounds, uneven surfaces, prolonged standing or sitting, and required personal protective equipment.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, quality, information management, or a related field.
  • Internal auditor training or a quality/process credential such as ASQ CQIA/CQA, ISO 9001 internal auditor, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience with publications coordination, Quality Management System document control, records management, SharePoint libraries and lists, Power Automate, PDF digital-signature workflows, revision control, or controlled-document indexes.
  • Experience with GCSS-Army, ISMS, AFMIS, SAAS-MOD, Munitions History Program, APD, AESIP/LDAC, or comparable logistics systems.
  • Knowledge of supply storage and warehouse operations, ammunition supply point operations, item classification, technical publications, Army records requirements, and related additional skill identifiers.
