Requirements
  • The candidate must be board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine.
  • The candidate must be or become board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine by January 2028.
  • The candidate must complete a three-year cardiology fellowship at an accredited institution.
  • The candidate must have experience interpreting non-invasive imaging studies, including echocardiography and nuclear imaging.
  • The role requires general clinical cardiology skills.
Responsibilities
  • Provide ambulatory management of cardiac patients in the clinic setting.
  • Manage cardiac patients in the inpatient setting.
  • Interpret non-invasive imaging studies.
  • Provide specialized clinical, educational, and/or research services within the area of expertise using current, evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Deliver comprehensive services across clinical settings, classroom environments, laboratory settings, or a combination thereof.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams, research groups, academic programs, and institutional partners to support patient care, program development, innovation, and scholarly activity.
  • Contribute to the education, training, and mentorship of students, trainees, and other designated learners.
  • Participate in departmental and divisional meetings, case conferences, teaching rounds, seminars, and other assigned academic activities.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain expertise in clinical practice, procedural skills, teaching, and/or research.
  • Fulfill night and weekend call responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Board certification in Cardiovascular Medicine.
  • Board certification in Echocardiography.
  • Board certification in Nuclear Imaging.
  • Board certification in Cardiac CT.
  • Experience interpreting Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI.
