Responsibilities
  • Prepare samples for experiments
  • Operate metrology tools in the FIB & TEM lab
  • Perform SEM/FIB system and routine maintenance procedures
  • Coordinate instrument repair and maintenance
  • Interface with requestors and communicate results
  • Help monitor job queue and maintain lab throughput
  • Document redo and lessons learned
  • Adhere to lab protocols and SOPs
  • Operate supportive metrology equipment
  • Monitor data and track performance of metrology equipment
  • Understand written instructions to perform assigned tasks
  • Create and update procedures and documentation
  • Perform basic operations of Microsoft Outlook and Office software
  • Follow safety protocols and processes
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
