- A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration, healthcare economics, or a relevant field.
- Proven working experience as a business development director, sales executive, or in a relevant role in the healthcare, medical, or pharmaceutical field.
- Strong market knowledge of United States medical insurance and clinical practice.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Time management and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software, such as Monday and Salesforce.
- Identify opportunities to develop and strengthen relationships to advance the business.
- Build cross-functional teams by connecting personnel across business lines, manage external vendor and supplier relations, and manage customer relations to increase the business’s visibility and reputation.
- Identify opportunities to increase the business’s footprint, including potential partnerships, distribution opportunities, new markets, and methods to improve efficiency within the sales and marketing departments.
- Take a hands-on approach to marketing efforts by presenting market research and customer profiles, recommending strategies to expand market reach, coordinating sales and marketing campaigns, and making decisions that drive sales growth.
- Work with executives and operations specialists to improve operations planning and overall efficiency; assess marketing and sales operations and supplier and vendor activities; recommend improvements; and make long-term operations decisions regarding product development and distribution strategies.
- Present business or marketing opportunities and results of new strategies to company executives and management teams.
- Prepare documents and information for requests for proposals.
- Client connections in clinics and medical groups in Northern California.
- Experience in a digital health startup.
