The Basics:
Tanium is looking for a People Analytics and Rewards Analyst to play a key role in our people and reward programs. You will partner closely with leaders across the business, finance partners, and human resources partners to drive operational efficiency and help build our workforce and rewards strategy. We are looking for a data savvy individual who can build analytical models to make recommendations and communicate key findings to partners across the business.
What you’ll do:
- Consult with HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and People Leaders on people strategy related topics, such as hiring, retention, and rewards, and drive resolution using a data-driven approach.
- Partner on workforce planning projects and translate statistical findings into non-technical, easily digestible insights
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights and support decision-making for business leaders, such as recruiting reports
- Make recommendations to improve existing data collection and analytical methods
- Identify historical trends and market data, and make recommendations for how we can drive operational efficiencies and deliver greater value
- Prepare materials for leadership to share with key stakeholders and executive leadership
- Key player in our annual employee engagement survey, supporting project planning and communication as well as interpretation of the findings
- Support our annual compensation programs, including merit, promotions, equity & bonus administration.
- Maintain the relationship with survey providers, with responsibility for our data submissions and tracking relevant surveys for us to participate in
We’re looking for someone with:
- BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred
- 3-5 years experience in a quantitative analysis role, preferably in Consulting and/or HR
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel building sophisticated Excel models to answer key business questions
- Skilled at using data visualization tools, like Tableau or Power BI, and building easy-to-understand custom dashboards
- Experience in at least one programming language, such as SQL, Python, R, etc.

- You plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple assignments.
- You can work independently to address data requests and perform analysis on large data sets, and easily establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- You are a team-player who can work in a collaborative environment, cross-functionally, and globally at a fast pace and with frequently changing priorities.
- You are someone with strong ethics and integrity who is motivated to do the right thing.
- You take initiative to identify and drive work that will add value to the team and the company, and are constantly thinking about how to improve yours and the team’s work.

What you’ll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 to $150,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
