Requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend customer specifications, drawings, military specifications, and schematics.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform electrical tests on cable assemblies and harnesses, including continuity, VSWR, insertion loss, dielectric withstand voltage, insulation resistance, and TDR readings.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with test equipment including CableEye, PNA/vector network analyzer, voltmeter, data bus tester, and megohmmeter.
  • At least 2 years of quality-related experience in a test environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access, as well as other custom computer software.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests and maintain test records in support of quality engineering and inspection functions.
  • Assist with calibration of tools and equipment.
  • Help implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Interface with production, sales, purchasing, and engineering personnel.
  • Ensure that all specifications are followed and that work conforms to customer and company standards during product assembly.
  • Report and document discrepancies regarding policies and procedures to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
  • Perform general product inspection in addition to testing.
  • Process and evaluate customer-returned material in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that rework forms are completed when products do not meet requirements.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
