  • Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPE) preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in ergonomics, ideally within a manufacturing setting
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred
  • Demonstrated familiarity with global ergonomic regulations and standards
  • Extensive experience working with RULA, REBA, Snook Tables, HumanCAD, NIOSH Lifting Equation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Scout’s Ergonomics Program
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ergonomic principles into product and tool design
  • Utilize best practice risk assessment methodologies for ergonomics through design and commissioning
  • Conduct Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) ergonomic analysis on equipment and processes
  • Develop and deliver ergonomic training and education programs
  • Assist in the development of EHS Management System elements
  • Maintain records of ergonomic assessments and corrective actions
  • Prepare and submit reports on ergonomic performance and improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager, EHS
