  • Advanced Excel capabilities, including experience building sophisticated models and working effectively with messy or imperfect data.

  • Ability to problem-solve effectively with senior executive leaders by framing ambiguous questions, pressure-testing assumptions, asking thoughtful questions, and translating discussion into a clear path forward.

Responsibilities
  • Independently tackle sophisticated strategic and analytical questions, work through messy data, identify meaningful insights, and help leaders make strategic decisions.
  • Take increasing ownership of high-priority strategy work from an ambiguous business question through analysis, insight, recommendation, and decision-ready output in partnership with the Chief Strategy Officer and other leaders.
  • Conduct business, financial, operational, and performance analysis using Excel, Sigma, and the company’s data environment.
  • Build and pressure-test models covering gross margin and profitability, unit economics, key performance indicators, utilization and duration, staffing and capacity, market sizing, and growth scenarios.
  • Translate complex analysis and research into executive, Board, and investor materials, including presentations, written briefs, visual analyses, Board decks, memos, and strategic planning materials.
  • Conduct and synthesize market research on market sizing, channel opportunities, partnership synergies, and the company’s competitive landscape using traditional sources and AI-enabled research tools.
  • Work with senior leaders to gather inputs, clarify questions, pressure-test assumptions, present owned work, and turn strategic questions into tangible recommendations and outputs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s systems, data, markets, and business to contribute with increasing self-sufficiency to high-priority strategic work.
Desired Qualifications
  • A rigorous management consulting foundation or comparable experience conducting sophisticated analytical and strategic work.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, synthesis, and strategic analysis.
  • Interest in building a long-term career in corporate strategy, including growth strategy, strategic planning, partnerships, adjacencies, and potential future corporate development or investment-related work.
  • Experience with Sigma, Snowflake, or other advanced analytics and data tools.
