Sabel Systems acquires Centil to strengthen space-domain engineering capabilities

Sabel Systems Technology Solutions has acquired Centil, expanding its capabilities in DevSecOps, CI/CD product development and space-domain systems engineering. The deal represents Sabel Systems' second acquisition since Sagewind Capital took a majority stake in October 2024. The acquisition strengthens Sabel Systems' digital engineering ecosystem and enhances its ability to serve defence and commercial space missions. Centil brings expertise in space-domain engineering and DevSecOps to the combined entity. "This acquisition brings together two teams that excel at solving complex engineering challenges and turning them into mission-ready solutions," said Shawn Purvis, CEO of Sabel Systems. KippsDeSanto & Co. served as financial adviser to Centil, with Sparks Wilson providing legal counsel.
