  • At least 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience in the defense, aerospace, or wireless communications industries is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of signal processing, wireless communications, radio frequency systems, software-defined radios, digital signal processing, or mobile ad hoc networks is required.
  • Experience translating complex mathematical algorithms, scientific concepts, or military use cases into clear, actionable software requirements and user stories is required.
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional research and development, engineering, operations, and sales teams without direct authority to meet strict release timelines is required.
  • An active U.S. Government Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
  • Employment is contingent on successfully clearing a background check and drug test.
Responsibilities
  • Translate Department of Defense mission requirements, mathematical signal analysis concepts, and electromagnetic spectrum operations needs into structured user stories and technical specifications.
  • Partner with research and development engineering to translate low probability of intercept/low probability of detection and anti-jamming techniques into features with an intuitive operator experience.
  • Own the end-to-end software and firmware backlog, requirements definition, and user experience for spectrum dominance features.

  • Capture operational feedback, field-trial results, and operator testing notes to evolve backlog user stories and turn field-tested waveforms into commercial software solutions.
  • Drive product adoption and collaborate with sales to generate interest and revenue growth; monitor product performance and refine software to address user-experience debt or emerging threat vectors, incorporating customer and field feedback into updates.
  • Align research and development, software engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams with business strategy, software monetization, licensing, and delivery timelines.
  • Translate market intelligence, upcoming Department of Defense program specifications, and competitor threat assessments into backlog priorities.
  • Travel up to 25% to support field testing, customer integrations, or customer meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Work in an office environment and at trade shows, and outdoors for demonstrations; occasionally encounter heat, cold, and allergens during field tests or demonstrations.
  • Lift equipment up to 50 pounds for demonstrations and testing, bend and reach to place items on shelves, kneel or squat to access lower shelves, and walk or move around laboratories.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with low probability of intercept/low probability of detection, electronic counter-countermeasures, anti-jamming, or spectrum monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with passive radio frequency sensing, spectral analysis, direction finding, angle-of-arrival localization, or tactical signal intelligence systems.
  • Understanding of government compliance targets, military environmental standards, or security certifications such as FIPS 140-3 and Commercial Solutions for Classified validation architectures.
  • A master's degree in Engineering, RF Engineering, or Computer Science, or an MBA from an accredited institution.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices and managing complex backlogs using tools such as Jira.
