Requirements
  • Experience as a standalone operator within Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance, pipeline services, or related oil and gas operations.
  • Hands-on experience with leak testing, nitrogen services, pigging, hydrotesting, mechanical bolting, and pressure testing operations.
  • Strong mechanical experience with the ability to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair operational equipment.
  • A valid UKNS Offshore Survival certificate and current offshore medical certification.
  • All required certifications and authorizations necessary to work within the UK offshore sector.
  • Understanding of Permit to Work systems, risk assessments, COSHH requirements, and safe working practices.
  • Ability to prepare written reports and interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision while supporting operational requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Execute Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance services including nitrogen/helium leak testing, nitrogen purging, mechanical torque and tensioning, barrier leak testing, pigging, FCGT, and hydrotesting activities.
  • Rig up, operate, and troubleshoot nitrogen equipment, fluid pumps, flooding pumps, bolting systems, and associated Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance equipment.
  • Operate auxiliary equipment including DHDA pumps, OPP systems, Blagdon pumps, and Haskel units while maintaining operational readiness and equipment reliability.
  • Perform daily inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing of pumps, hoses, fittings, treating iron, and associated operational equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and COSHH assessments and comply with Permit to Work requirements and HSE standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation, operational reports, maintenance records, and test completion paperwork.
  • Support pre-job planning, post-job reviews, yard operations, and customer interactions.
  • Maintain technical competency across Pre-Commissioning & Maintenance services and ensure equipment readiness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
