Service Technician Assembly/Vehicle Construction
About the job
- A completed technical vocational qualification as an agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician, construction machinery mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic, machine fitter, service technician, industrial mechanic, metalworker, or bodywork and vehicle construction mechanic, or comparable experience.
- Experience assembling, repairing, and adapting mechanical and hydraulic components, ideally including electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of steel construction and preferably experience with welding, or willingness to develop welding skills.
- A structured, careful, and independent working style, teamwork, and professional customer interaction.
- Good German language skills and willingness to pursue further training.
- Ideally, a Class C driving license or willingness to obtain one.
- Assemble, build, adjust, and inspect PALFINGER products, including checking stability.
- Process customer orders on schedule while meeting specified cost and quality standards.
- Perform service, maintenance, and repair work on PALFINGER equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Analyze faults, document completed work, and use relevant systems to research information and spare parts.
- Professionally hand over and provide instruction on products to customers.
- Support the team through knowledge sharing and comply with occupational safety requirements.
- Experience with electrical equipment.
- Experience with welding.
- A Class C driving license.
