Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business, or an equivalent degree from an accredited university is required.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in a construction, design project management, or business environment is required.
  • Advanced computer and system skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook, are required.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, developing, and leading is required.
  • The candidate must be able to create budgets and analyze results against plans.
  • The candidate must be able to synthesize, analyze, and present data and evaluate areas for change.
  • The candidate must be able to work effectively with senior company executives, Board members, clients, and external constituents.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the regional office with the executive office leader.
  • Manage the office budget, review secured revenue, communicate project profit, and forecast office overhead labor.
  • Manage office and project personnel, including coordinating hiring needs with Talent Acquisition and dismissals with Human Resources.
  • Ensure personnel career-growth conversations are held with local Team Leads to set and measure employee goals.
  • Oversee local business development and participate in proposal review.
  • Sponsor regional and companywide programs and identify individuals to participate.
  • Act as a resource for executive office leadership and teams regarding local Trade Partner and Owner issues.
  • Manage office renovations and improvements, seating arrangements, office celebrations, and major business-development events.
  • Participate in and improve situations involving human-resources issues with team members.
  • Keep safety central to the everyday work environment.
  • Review local operational procedures and processes to improve quality or efficiency and participate in local and national operations meetings.
  • Support the local intern program and ensure adequate resources are allocated for its success.
  • Mentor team members and foster growth opportunities.
  • Work with Team Leads on performance issues or disciplinary concerns and propose title and pay changes when applicable.
