  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Ability to learn all jobs in the department.
  • Ability to work flexible hours covering multiple shifts and departments.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time wisely.
  • Ability to work required overtime.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure training processes are in place and followed to achieve a quality product for the customer.
  • Coordinate the Total Training Plan, including process manuals and the certification process.
  • Participate in problem solving related to product quality.
  • Coordinate and execute training of associates.
  • Develop and provide initial orientation for new or transferred associates, including Safety Must-Know training.
  • Develop and provide Safety Must-Knows training.
  • Ensure proper associate training, including follow-up.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure proper use of departmental process manuals.
  • Create and revise work instructions, procedures, and forms.
  • Perform random or regular specification Layered Process Audits and other audits.
  • Perform customer on-demand audits as necessary.
  • Work with team leaders to schedule training certification events.
  • Conduct and coordinate mini-trainings initiated by process changes.
  • Conduct radio-frequency unit training and maintenance.
  • Support the Quality at the Source program.
  • Develop and manage the employee certification process.
  • Gather and understand department quality metrics.
  • Maintain the department cross-training matrix.
  • Perform root cause analysis on remakes and drive improvement.
  • Work with engineering to resolve process or product issues.
  • Retrain and work with associates to eliminate errors and remakes.
  • Participate in department and group management meetings.
  • Gather, sort, graph, and present quality data for month-end reporting.
  • Initiate and complete the reject process.
  • Present Quality at the Source meetings for team leaders and associates.
  • Audit control plans.
  • Create presentations for miscellaneous meetings.
  • Provide miscellaneous support and complete other projects as necessary.
  • Work as a backup in a production capacity.
  • Work with vendors on quality issues.
  • Help maintain the 6S program in the department.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Attend regularly scheduled safety meetings.
  • Attend daily huddles and other meetings to ensure smooth communication.
  • Work all required overtime.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • A thorough understanding of Quality at the Source.
