  • 5 years minimum experience in the EHS field.
  • Bachelor's Degree required. EHS related field and/or Graduate degree a plus.
  • Knowledge— progressive and recent knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and IATA regulations.
  • 5+ years of experience with EPA, DOT, and IATA DGR regulations.
  • Must be currently DOT HAZMAT and IATA DGR trained.
  • 3+ years’ experience with OSHA HAZWOPER Standard and/or Emergency Response experience.
  • 3+ years OSHA safety experience.
  • 2+ years of experience instructing adults in a classroom setting.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Sales and customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Should have a professional understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to identify and correct training errors through in-classroom evaluations in an adult learning environment.
  • Demonstrated mastery of the art of instruction and content.
  • The individual must be able to instruct an 8-hour long class in a classroom environment on client sites and virtually from home or office.
  • Must be able to travel on a weekly basis, occasionally overnight. Per-diem and travel reimbursement are provided.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver half- and full-day training events for clients.
  • Maintain a client-focused perspective, results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in compressed timeframe situations, strategic thinking capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Promote a proactive EHS culture by engaging employees, conducting training sessions, and implementing behavior-based safety programs.
  • Build high-quality relationships with senior client team members and collaborate with various departments to implement effective strategies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferably holds a Professional Credential (CDGP, CIT, CSP, CHMM, CIH).
