- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia is required.
- A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support credential is required.
- Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Northside Hospital.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
- One year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse is preferred.
- An additional Life Support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or other clinical specialty certifications, may be preferred in specific units.
- Visual color acuity may be preferred depending on the role in specific units.
