About the job
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience in predictive projects.
- Experience building and deploying predictive models and fundamental statistics knowledge sufficient to explain underlying algorithms and processes.
- Intermediate to advanced programming skills for extracting and manipulating data using R, Python, SAS, SQL, KXEN, and SAP Predictive Analytics.
- Knowledge of data integration processes and data mining.
- Fluent English language proficiency.
- Ability to travel 30%.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or PhD in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Economics.
- Build and maintain predictive models by extracting and combining data from multiple sources using SQL, R, KXEN, SAP Predictive Analytics, and SAS.
- Develop new or revised statistical systems and investigate or solve modeling-related problems, including advanced recommendation engines for external ecommerce websites.
- Facilitate and manage major internal initiatives and external client needs using advanced mathematical and structured algorithms.
- Develop prototypes in client information technology environments.
- Demonstrate the business value of solutions and build strong working relationships with clients and the internal team.
- Consulting experience.
- Experience discussing the role of analytics in customer lifecycle analytics.
- Statistical emphasis in data mining techniques, Bayesian network inference, CHAID, CART, association rules, linear and nonlinear regression, and hierarchical mixed models or multilevel modeling.
- Some experience performing data mining or statistical analysis in retail, insurance, or financial services.
- Additional languages.
