- The candidate must be at least 19 years of age.

- Analyze patient demographic information to determine where clarification may be needed for other users.
- Audit documents generated through the Hospital Information System or Document Imaging System, including information entered through custom questions, and follow up with hospital staff as necessary.
- Work with case management to resolve insurance coverage issues.
- Train and orient new employees and train existing staff on new techniques or procedures as directed by the supervisor.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the Hospital Information System and Document Imaging System to pre-register and register patients and update databases for changes in patient status, transfers, newborn admissions, and discharges.
- Maintain a minimum accuracy rate of 96% after six months of employment.
- Manage downtime procedures and re-initiation of the Hospital Information System and Document Imaging System.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software systems.
- Participate in staff evaluations.
