Requirements
  • In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred: SAP and Workday experience
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
Responsibilities
  • Managing daily operations and ensuring efficient production
  • Overseeing and coordinating staff and schedules - roughly 18 direct reports
  • Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels
  • Setting and meeting production goals and targets
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees
  • Training and mentoring new hires
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimize processes and achieve company objectives
  • Managing budget and expenses
  • Resolving any operational issues or conflicts that arise
  • Conducting regular meetings and providing updates to management
  • Staying updated on industry trends and implementing best practices
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors
  • Conducting regular equipment and facility maintenance checks
  • Monitoring inventory levels and implementing inventory control procedures
  • Conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations
  • Identifying and addressing any inventory discrepancies
  • Collaborating with purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control measures
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations
  • Conducting quality inspections and addressing any issues or concerns
  • Implementing corrective actions to improve product quality
  • Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.
