- At least 1 year of interpretation experience.
- Ability to interpret effectively between Vietnamese and English in both directions.
- Adherence to the NCIHC Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks, duties, projects, and paperwork promptly within approved guidelines.
- Ability to learn and implement new and changing technologies quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly regulated environment.
- Willingness and ability to complete additional duties and assignments on an ongoing basis.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic scheduling, and the internet.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- For VRI work: access to a computer or laptop running Windows 10 or higher, a steady wired internet connection with minimum download speeds of 20 Mbps and upload speeds of 10 Mbps, a webcam, a USB wired headset, and a contrasting solid-color backdrop.
- Provide interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical and educational settings.
