About the job
- A DoD Secret clearance is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least five years of test coordination experience is required.
- Serve as test manager for PEO Soldier programs.
- Plan and manage assignments and progress, and evaluate results.
- Research Capability Development Documents, Capability Production Documents, product specifications, and Army Regulations to develop and staff Test and Evaluation Master Plans for approval in support of program milestones.
- Coordinate with ATEC to determine and develop appropriate testing for government programs, and monitor ATEC activities to ensure testing and assessments are adequate and provide the data and results needed for independent evaluation.
- Oversee or conduct Test and Evaluation Working Integrated Product Teams and Test Readiness Reviews; ensure associated test plans, procedures, and execution are adequate, and close all test issues.
- Ensure military tactics, techniques, and procedures used during testing are current and representative.
- Attend testing and report test results and issues as required by the Program Manager.
- Evaluate test data, assess risks, and develop test result summaries for leadership briefings, Suitability Statements, and Milestone Decisions.
- Work with Assistant Product Managers, Product Leads, and Program Managers to understand interfaces and address and resolve integration issues.
- Review system evaluation plans and evaluation strategy reviews, and provide input to Program Managers.
- Schedule and resource Developmental Test and Operational Test events.
- Review test plans, test procedures, test reports, and system assessment reports for adequacy, accuracy, and issue identification.
- Use test plans or other program data and research to develop fiscal year ammunition requirements supporting programs.
- Track planned testing and maintain a Master Test Schedule.
- Share data with PEO-level test and evaluation personnel for test synchronization.
- Ensure all government test planning documents are uploaded to the appropriate databases.
