About the Job

Requirements

  • At least a secondary education in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7-series and Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including the ability to diagnose them.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc robotics systems.
  • Experience maintaining machinery in operation.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults and repair machines and equipment as part of maintenance operations.
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain machine control and automation systems.
  • Select spare parts and technical materials for automation work.
  • Start up new projects.
  • Cooperate with and supervise external companies while they service machines and equipment.

Desired Qualifications

  • SEP electrical qualifications are an advantage.
