Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: cabinet or countertop construction, general construction or finish carpentry, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, plumbing using polyvinyl chloride or cross-linked polyethylene, hydraulics, or automotive work with trucks.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with operating power drills, saws, sanders, hand tools, multimeters, and pneumatic tools.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with relevant assembly processes.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing.
  • The ability to follow engineering drawings and instructions.
  • The ability to adapt across various processes and willingness to cross-train.
  • The ability to communicate and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • The ability to work safely, including required use of safety eyewear, closed-toed shoes, and task-specific personal protective equipment.
  • The physical stamina to work in awkward positions and stand for prolonged periods.
  • The ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with assistance required for anything heavier.
  • The ability to work in fluctuating indoor temperatures, occasional outdoor conditions, noise, and possible chemical exposure while following Safety Data Sheet protocols.
Responsibilities
  • Follow process sheets, create kits, and ensure compliance with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Operate testing equipment such as electrical multimeters, low-pressure leak detectors, high- and low-voltage meters, and pressure/vacuum testers.
  • Cross-train and perform assembly tasks including flooring installation, plumbing, door and window installation, stabilizing systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, cabinet and countertop construction, welding, and technology integration.
  • Collaborate with the team and management to enhance productivity and ensure safety in all operations.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management to support department goals.
  • Assemble high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
  • Use tools, equipment, and materials to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
