Requirements
  • Act as a Workday subject matter expert for Workday Human Capital Management and security modules, with hands-on knowledge of Core HCM, Security, and Benefits and working knowledge of other Workday modules, including recruiting, compensation, payroll, learning, talent, time tracking, absence management, and help.
  • Have 4–7 years of hands-on functional Workday experience.
  • Hold a required Workday HCM, security, or benefits certification.
  • Have a deep understanding of Human Resources processes and data.
  • Have the ability to identify and resolve complex, multidimensional problems.
  • Have the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Have experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support the performance and results of the Workday Systems team.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday configurations, system support, testing, troubleshooting, and vendor support as required.
  • Create new Workday functionality and enhancements for the organization.
  • Lead a high-performing team of Workday system configuration professionals.
  • Partner with functional teams to review business requirements, recommend process improvements, and deploy system enhancements.
  • Lead the maintenance and enhancement of Workday configurations, including business processes, notifications, setup values, condition rules, and eligibility rules.
  • Lead and manage unit, end-to-end, user acceptance, and regression testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with technical partners to ensure accurate and timely data flow between systems, vendors, and external providers.
  • Lead and support the execution of Workday’s semi-annual releases.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical partners to streamline and improve processes and provide recommendations.
  • Lead the maintenance of the company’s Workday security framework and new security initiatives, including custom security roles and security for new integrations.
  • Build, test, and upload Enterprise Interface Builders for mass data uploads as needed.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.

  • Knowledge and exposure to retail, distribution center, and hourly workforces.
