Requirements

Have a portfolio of UX/UI design projects showcasing a range of work.

Responsibilities

Champion user experience and ensure user insights drive design decisions.
Lead and mentor a team of designers and researchers, drive weekly meetings, and help them understand and advocate for the end user in product design.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate user experience considerations throughout product development.
Create intuitive and elegant UX solutions to user problems.
Run a user testing programme to continuously improve the product portfolio, using data to inform design decisions.
Design UX best practices and processes and embed them into the team.
Use data and technical considerations to inform prompt decision-making.
Keep abreast of trends in user-centered design and advocate for innovative solutions that enhance user experience.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and provide meaningful, intuitive designs that ensure a seamless user experience.
Develop and test prototypes, storyboards, and process flows for new product ideas and enhancements to existing products.
Create and iterate on UI mock-ups, prototypes, and original graphic designs, incorporating user feedback and adhering to style guidelines.
Identify and resolve UX issues, conduct layout adjustments, and use modern agile design techniques.
Engage continuously in user research and usability testing to integrate market trends and direct user insights into design decisions.

Desired Qualifications

A basic understanding of front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
A strong command of English.
Experience partnering with product managers and developers, presenting to senior leadership, or working across multiple teams and markets.
Experience designing for digital commerce, mobile products, content platforms, telecom/operator partnerships, or multi-market international products.
Experience applying user research, usability testing, prototyping, design systems, or agile product design processes.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Eight or more years of professional UX/UI experience.
Three or more years in a UX/UI leadership role focused on user advocacy in design.

As Head of UI/UX, you will shape the user experience vision across the product range and help ensure that design decisions are grounded in user needs, strong collaboration, and a high standard of digital experience.
